Our objectives
Ciao Kids is purely a humanitarian
organisation, its goals being to develop projects relating
to the health and education of children, both able-bodied
and disabled, orphans and Children from poor families in
southern India.
Hygiene
Children in the Home are looked after by a team of young women
all of whom we have trained ourselves.
Disabled children are given special help on a daily basis for
their hygiene requirements like brushing teeth, bathing, feeding.

BENEFICIARIES
Ciao Kids
is particularly active on behalf of disable
children, whatever the nature of their disability: genetic or
prenatal problems, illness, accident, violence or malnutrition,
physical or intellectual impairment or sensory deficiencies.

Health
Malnutrition is present in many forms throughout the State of
Karnataka, and often the most affected are disabled children.
Ciao Kids also reaches out to families who have handicapped
children. A culture of dependency is not a lasting solution, so
we train them at their homes to look after their own disabled
children. |
